Our Story

Carson Women’s Club was founded in 1968 as a nonprofit non-political organization after the new city was successfully incorporated that same year.

CWC members became the “Official hostesses” to the city of Carson and graciously committed to serve the city officials and community as needed. We not only take pride in serving the community in general but in helping the youth of Carson by holding a number of fundraisers throughout the year to provide scholarships to high school graduates.

Our Success

Carson Women’s Club has provided over 450+ scholarships since its inception. Providing an average of 22 scholarships annually for over 15 years.

CWC scholarships are provided to students that reside in Carson, CA. The scholarship is given to incoming college scholars and continuing college scholars over the course of a four-year period to support them and their academic goals.
